Shamiso Mosaka, who made her reality TV debut on Showmax’s Born into Fame, has had quite the rollercoaster ride since her introduction to the audience.
Initially celebrated as a fan favorite for her bold personality, Shamiso found herself facing accusations of bullying for the last few episodes before the reality show ended, sparking discussions among viewers and fans alike on socials.
In the gripping final episode, tensions reached a boiling point as Shamiso was seen turning tables in a fit of anger, a moment that left viewers shocked.
In a recent interview with TRUELOVE, Shamiso opened up about how the viewers’ perceptions have affected her, particularly in relation to the drama surrounding AJ Mafokate. She reflected on the fluctuating opinions of fans, stating, “At first, people loved me and then hated me.”
Despite the backlash, Shamiso remains hopeful about the future of Born into Fame. She has expressed her desire for a second season to the entertainment publication, where she aims to showcase a more nuanced side of herself and continue to engage with her fans. “I’m so open to it. I think once you get through the initial brunt of people’s perception of you and you push past, it’s actually quite a fun experience,” she added.
