Denise Zimba exposes childhood bestie who cheated with her husband

Actress and presenter Denise Zimba has kicked off the year 2025 with one thing on her agenda – transparency.

Following a rocky 2024 that saw the end of her relationship with her now ex-husband, Jakob Schlichtig, the proud mother of two has now revealed the person responsible for breaking up her marriage.

In a recent post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Denise revealed Jakob has had an affair with a childhood friend who she has known since she was 14 years old.

”Nothing worse than finding out your best friend since you were 14 years old, has been having an affair with your husband, and that’s why she always ghosted you when you were pregnant and never celebrated you – birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers …”

Following her revelation, the former Vuzu presenter shared yet another post, providing her picture of the person she was referring to.

The images posted show the couple during their happiest moments while the accused woman poses alongside them for a picture on the dance floor on their wedding night.

She later wrote: “These pictures land really different now. The day of my wedding, your speech, just two years ago …

“Little did I know,” she concluded.

The recent revelations follow just weeks after Denise promised to disclose the identity of the alleged mistress towards the end of last year.

Last year she opened up about how she has navigated life after the setback.

“The best thing I could have ever done for myself was to walk away. In this past year alone, I lost my family that I gave so much of myself to have. Close friends betrayed me at levels I cannot even comprehend. Those I loved the most and held close to my heart abandoned me and did not choose me.”

Despite the recent heartbreak, the actress however remains determined to pick up the broken pieces of her life as she has now shifted more attention to prioritising her daughters and personal ventures.
