Media personality Cyan Boujee has recently left online users filled with mixed sentiments following a viral clip in which she addresses the topic of knowing one’s self-worth.

In a recent interview that is circulating on social media platforms, the 23-year-old granddaughter to former president Jacob Zuma touched on some personal experiences where she has had to realise how valuable she is when it comes to her relationships.

In the short clip, she reveals some of her conditions when it comes to being intimate with men, explaining that she would only go that far on the basis that she would benefit from gifts and other spoils.

She further highlighted that this was not prostitution, but that it was important that women know their value.

“I’ll go to a guy to get smashed, and I’ll come back home with so much, but they would come back hungry, desperate, having so much anger.”

“I feel like I have things to do, I have gas to pay, honey, my wig, do you know how much this is? I really want to go with someone that understands that and can maintain me,” she explained.

Following her online rant, X (former Twitter) users took to the social media platform sharing their opinions on her utterances with many feeling that she is a bad example to young girls looking up to her.

Others, meanwhile, were confused about the fact that she highlighted that she was not selling but benefited in any case, highlighting that it sounded like prostitution.
