Court of social media finds Mihlali Ndamase guilty of skin bleaching

Mihlali Ndamase

2024 has proven to be quite the year for controversial influencer and YouTuber, Mihlali Ndamase, as she has gone from ‘riches to rags’ with her pristine brand, succumbing to scandals revolving around her personal life. The influencer has found herself as the talk of the town once more, as the social media streets whisper about her potentially bleaching her skin.

Mihlali’s relationship with her former lover, Leeroy Sidambe, proved to do more harm than good to Mihlali, as we saw it leave her brand and reputation in a questionable place and fans, supporters and critics alike credit her apparent downfall to said relationship.

This time, the influencer finds her name trending after a clip of her at a hair appointment has gone viral, however, not for the hair but for her skin instead.

It appears to be a common belief that Mihlali, along with a handful of other influencers and notable figures are regulars at popular influencer Sthembile Ndlovu’s salon where they get IV drips, which they believe contains a chemical responsible for Mihlali’s current skin. According to these users, these drips have resulted in Mihlali’s skin looking pink and almost raw.

It is those drips she’s taking. She had a breakout I think earlier this year and decided to go to some “skin specialist” and well it seems like it is turning her pink

The video currently making rounds has further added fuel to the fire, as users critically analyse the influencer’s skin, concluding that there is a visible difference in complexion from even a few months ago, furthermore, some users have compared Mihlali to prominent figure Khanyi Mbau who is notorious for her cosmetic surgeries and enhancement of her skin and body.
