Musician Zandie Khumalo-Gumende’s husband, Mhlonishwa ‘Mhlo’ Gumede set to wed his second wife soon.

Kelly Khumalo’s younger sister, Zandie will be joining polygamy as her businessman husband prepares to allegedly marry the late Ukhozi FM presenter and Crown Gospel Awards founder Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule’s niece, Nonjabulo Mduli.

As per reports by entertainment publication, ZiMoja, in 2016 Zandie and Mhlo got married and later had their first child together. A close source told the entertainment publication that both families met prior to Zanele’s passing to discuss a way forward.

Nonjabulo is known to have worked closely with her late aunt as her publicist and is reported to be having a hard time accepting her passing, while Mhlo has been very supportive adding, “Everything I do, I make sure I protect my family and put them first.”

News publication, OK Mzansi, adds that the musician is happy with the idea of becoming a polygamist household as she understands that it is part of African culture where some men expand their families by taking more than one wife.

She says, “My husband loves me dearly, and I love him even more. I love that man, and I care about him, and I want nothing bad to happen to him.”

Speaking to the above-mentioned source, Zandie did not confirm or deny the allegations of the identity of the second wife but rather focused on supporting her alleged sister-wife during this difficult time as she suffered a great loss.
