Costa Titch’s family launches ‘Painting the town green campaign’ in honour of the Big Flexa

by Sergio Miller

With just a few days passed since the first anniversary of amapiano artist Costa Titch’s death – his family has now launched a campaign to honour the Big Flexa hitmaker.

In a statement obtained by news and entertainment publication Daily Sun, the family officially announced that they will be launching a campaign called “Paint the Town Green.”

With Green having been the singer’s favourite colour, fans of the 28-year-old are encouraged to wear green on special days such as Green Fridays.

As reported by Daily Sun the statement read, “The campaign also aims to achieve a significant milestone with Costa’s iconic Big Flexa music video, which is on the brink of reaching 100 million views.”

The family therefore urged fans from all over the world to celebrate his legacy by streaming the video. Doing so is said to make it the most viewed amapiano music video in history.

While Costa may have gotten his flowers for his hit songs, many would remember that he initially stepped into the industry as a choreographer, which is something he loved with utmost passion.

It is for this reason that the family plans to honour this passion by establishing a Costa Titch Dance Academy in the near future.

While there is still a lot of speculation on what caused the singer’s passing, his mother Lara Langeveld, has made it clear that epilepsy could not have been the cause.

In her interview with entertainment publication The South African she recently said: “It’s tough for me to not know what happened to Costa. Hopefully I can get some answers. I need those answers.”
