Mzansi has experienced yet another blow with the passing of actor, Wiseman Sithole.

The seasoned thespian, who was based in Cape Town, showcased his acting prowess on Shooting Stars, 90 Plein Street and Projek Dina. He passed away in his home after suffering from a short illness at the age of 51.

His death comes shortly after veteran actor, Meme Ditshego passed away.

Wiseman’s passing was confirmed by acting agency, ERM Stars on their Instagram post. “It is with the greatest sadness that we share the shattering news of Wiseman Sithole’s sudden passing.

“We are honoured to have worked alongside this legend of an actor. He touched many lives as a friend, relative, and to his audience on screen. We will miss you so much, Wiseman,” they penned.

According to the statement, Wiseman had an upcoming performance at the 2025 Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees taking place in October, which he had been photographed for.

“The beautiful photograph was taken just a couple of weeks ago by Nardus Engelbrecht for Wiseman’s upcoming performance at the Woordfees,” read the statement.
