Coco Ntshangase responds to Ameigh Thompson after bleeding on socials

by Silindokuhle Booi

Nozipho Ntshangase, a star of The Mommy Club reality TV show, found herself at the centre of social media controversy after her stepdaughter Coco posted Instagram selfies with her new stepmother, Misokuhle.

Coco’s dad, Zola, officially took Misokuhle as his second wife earlier this year, sparking a heated debate. The controversy escalated when Ameigh Thompson, a star of The Real Housewives of Durban, weighed in on Coco’s post, venting about her frustrations with stepchildren.

Ameigh claimed that stepmothers often face the greatest challenges and that children’s loyalty usually lies with their biological parent and whoever controls the finances.

“There’s nothing you can do for a child you didn’t bear,” she wrote. “Evil stepmothers always endure the longest, while we, who are like Bob the Builder, face the greatest challenges.” She also advised other women to avoid overextending themselves for children who aren’t biologically theirs.

Coco fired back at Ameigh, taking to her Instagram stories to spill some tea. She questioned how Ameigh landed her spot on RHOD, alleging that Ameigh had a personal relationship with a man she was raising his children for.

Coco also claimed that Ameigh was broke and bitter, having moved back to Lamontville with no WiFi but plenty of data to talk about others. “Shame you gave wife effort on a side chick salary,” Coco taunted, before blocking Ameigh.

The drama highlights the complexities of blended families and the challenges that come with them. As reality TV stars, both Ameigh and Coco are no strangers to public scrutiny, but this exchange has certainly sparked a heated debate among fans.
