When it comes to social media personality Cindy Makhathini, one thing that we can guarantee is transparency, oversharing and tons of laughter.

Her open nature with her followers is often a recipe for viral videos, and this time, the influencer is trending after her rant where she addresses an X (formerly Twitter) account that has been catfishing her for some time.

In her latest viral video, Cindy expresses her frustration with a specific X account that has been terrorising her for some time now during an Instagram Live. According to the socialite, the account in question has gotten her into trouble on several occasions as internet users are not aware that she does not have an X account.

She explains that the individual behind the fake account even goes as far as commenting on any and every topic Cindy goes viral for, responding to matters she would rather not engage in. As she got emotional during her rant, Cindy stated that she is willing to pay the individual to get rid of the account.

“I am so angry, like I’m angry. You guys don’t know how much trouble this account has put me in, I don’t even know what to say at this point… I would pay R20k to take down that page with pride, and even add R5k on top.”

Unfortunately for Cindy, internet users do not seem to buy her story, claiming that she is trying to hide behind a catfish when she is the owner of the page.
