Television presenter Christopher Jaftha has threatened to pursue legal action following damning allegations made by fellow industry acquaintance Ruan Adams.
The vibrant personality of Chris recently became the subject of controversy after Ruan accused the former, The Longest Date, host of having an affair with his wife, Pabi Moloi.
In a court paper obtained by the news and entertainment publication Sunday World, Ruan expressed that the child he shares with Pabi might not be his. He later revealed that the radio host Chris had an affair around the same time that he and Pabi were sexually active.
Meanwhile, he later also highlighted various other instances that had given him reason to doubt, with some being Pabi’s refusal to have him be present at the birth of his son as well as declining his request to be registered as his father on the birth certificate and is therefore requesting that a paternity be done.
“If I am confirmed to be the father of (name withheld), I will seek an order thereafter to amend the birth certificate to reflect me as (name withheld)’s biological father,” he said
Following the emergence of these allegations, Christopher has since responded.
In a recent statement shared via his Instagram account, he claimed that everything said about him was false and misleading.
“I want to state unequivocally, there is absolutely no truth to these allegations.”
“Out of respect for my colleague Pabi Moloi and her child, I will not further dignify the falsehood with further details.”
He concluded, adding that he will ultimately pursue legal action, and thanked those who know his character.
