The American singer Chris Brown can now exhale a sigh of relief following his release from a UK prison after facing assault charges.
On Wednesday, the singer was granted bail after he agreed to pay the court R120 million on condition that he fulfill his commitment to continue the international world tour, which is set to start on the 8th of June in the Netherlands, with some UK cities also included.
With this now being the case, the Sensational hitmaker is expected to return to the United Kingdom, and if he fails, it means that he forfeits his bail of R120 million.
Meanwhile, the news publication, Reuters, reports that the singer has not entered a plea deal and was also not present at Southwark Crown Court when Judge Tony Baumgartner granted him bail.
It was further reported that he had to surrender his passports except when travelling for a tour.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, the singer, who last visited South Africa in December 2024 in a two-night sold-out “Breezy Bowl” concert in Johannesburg, later wrote: “From the cage to the stage! Breezy Bowl.”

The upcoming tour which proudly boasts the same name, is reported to be a celebration of his twentieth year in the music industry.
The 36-year-old is expected to return to the Southwark Crown Court in London on 20 June.
