Popular Johannesburg restaurant Solo Sandton has quickly garnered the attention of the masses as they step into the spotlight for a messy and fatal shooting that took place at their establishment.

Solo Sandton has become one of the more popular restaurants in Johannesburg over the years. It not only offers mouth-watering cuisine but also provides patrons with exquisite and lavish aesthetics to pair with the food, which has become a game changer in today’s restaurant business.

It appears the Sandton area has become synonymous with danger and violence as this is not the first occurrence of a shooting in a public establishment, with one shooting being as recent as late last year at Tempo restaurant. This time, the chosen location was Solo restaurant, and speculation on the street is that infamous businessman Sphamandla Mabonga, the ex-boyfriend of media personality Londi London, was involved in this shooting.

According to some social media users, Sphamandla, who is known for disregarding rules, attempted to force his way into the restaurant, despite being banned, which led to the fatal shooting where two of his bodyguards were among the three people confirmed dead. The news comes after Sphamandla was placed at the forefront of the Tempo shooting as well, which also erupted due to similar reasons.

Although omitting his name, Jacaranda FM revealed that the police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed the death of the businessman as well as his bodyguards.
