When Cassper – born Refiloe Phoolo – first teased the vibrant visuals, he hyped up the production value and luxurious feel of the video: “The music video for ‘KUSHO BANI’ just might be the cleanest music video I’ve shot in my whole career.

“It cost an arm and a leg and it sure looks like it. Today was amazing!!! Be on the look out!!! How much do you think it costs????”

Known for his deep connection with fans, Cassper took the time to express his gratitude for their unwavering support.

Meanwhile, tennis legend Serena Williams jumped on the viral ‘Hosh’Karamaima’ challenge, adding star power and global appeal.

The rapper proudly shared a video of Serena enthusiastically taking part alongside popular digital creator Achieng Agutu, sparking excitement across social media.

“Oh YALL BOUT TO GET SICK ME!!! SERENA WILLIAMS and ACHIENG AGUTU bathi HOSH’KARAMAIMA!!! ??? STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA FOR A WEEK!!!”

The phrase “HOSH’KARAMAIMA!!!”, lifted from Kusho Bani, initially received mixed reactions; but with Cassper’s numbers soaring, it’s clear the song has become a cultural moment.

Even respected South African radio and TV host Sizwe Dhlomo weighed in on Cassper’s unstoppable rise, praising his resilience and ability to defy the odds.

“Cassper’s success is actually ordained by God. I’ve seen him time & time again, triumph in adverse circumstances! Always pulling a rabbit out a hat.”
