Rapper and businessman Refiloe “Cassper Nyovest” Phoolo took to his social media to share news that his single 018 featuring Maglera Doe Boy has reached a million streams, just three weeks after its release.
018 is the first single on the Solomon album to be released by the Billiato premium alcoholic brand owner before he released his full album on September 15th, 2023, which features 11 tracks.
The Solomon album also features a song dedicated to the late rapper AKA called Candlelight. Speaking about how felt when he heard the news of AKA’s passing on his album launch, Cassper shared:
“It’s crazy like, when I heard of his passing, I couldn’t even express the pain I was feeling because of like our relationship. We hated each other, I mean I hated him till his last day. But like, I was shocked myself I was so sad, I realise like how important he was to me. I felt for his family, I felt for his kid.”
Sharing the exciting news of the million views, Cassper captioned his post:
