Music is known to be a way of expressing oneself. Multi-award-winning rapper Refiloe Phoolo, popularly known as Cassper Nyovest, did that with his new song.

In the new single that is yet to be released, Cassper shares his relief when he heard that his son, Khotso, is cancer-free, how the industry almost cancelled him when he refused to take a picture with his fans and called him arrogant, his fight with his sisters and fame.

News and entertainment publication, MDN News, took to their X (formerly Twitter) page to share a clip of Cassper jamming to what seems to be a listening session of his song.

“The pain I had to hide, just imagine. Looking at the world trying to cancel me, while I try to celebrate my beautiful son being cancer-free,” he said.

Not so long ago, Khotso’s mother, Thobeka ‘Bexx’ Majozi, shared her heartfelt testimony and praised God for healing her son from cancer. This is after she revealed that the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker was cheating on her while their son was sick.

“This week I’ve been led to my knees to remember, repent and return. Amongst the many good things He’s done, I remember the day my son was declared cancer-free.”

“Every little particle of me wants to scream on top of a hill to testify to the goodness of God. I have a testimony. I am the testimony. You’re so faithful, Father,” she penned.
