Cardi B Shares Daughter Kulture’s Budget-Friendly Christmas Wishlist

by Zaghrah Anthony

Kulture’s Christmas List Keeps It Simple

While many parents brace themselves for sky-high holiday wish lists, Cardi B is breathing a sigh of relief this year. The rapper revealed on X that her daughter Kulture’s Christmas wishlist contains none of the usual designer extravagances—but instead, a trove of budget-friendly outfits from fast-fashion favourites Fashion Nova and SHEIN.

“Kulture just sent me like 40 outfits from Fashion Nova and SHEIN she want for Christmas… I love that for me,” Cardi B tweeted, sharing her relief that her wallet won’t take a beating this season.

From Birkin Bags to Fast Fashion

Fans may be surprised by the modesty of Kulture’s request, considering Cardi B’s history of lavish gifting. In previous years, she’s gifted her children designer handbags, expensive jewellery, and even created separate themed Christmas trees—Hello Kitty for Kulture and Baby Shark for her son Wave. Back in 2021, when Kulture was only two, Cardi B gifted her a Birkin bag worth roughly R460,000.

Yet this year, it seems the rapper is letting her children make their own choices without influence from luxury branding.

Ugh I know…once kids get in that wave it’s no turning back …I didn’t care about brands till I was in the third grade ….She just google “girls clothes”and whatever pops up she ask me to buy. https://t.co/qng6GG0GRS

Letting Kids Be Kids

Cardi B explained in her tweets that Kulture hasn’t yet caught onto the world of high-end brands. “Ugh I know … once kids get in that wave it’s no turning back … She didn’t care about brands till I was in the third grade … She just google ‘girls clothes’ and whatever pops up, she asks me to buy.”

Fans quickly chimed in with support, many relating to the joy of letting children explore fashion without pressure.

  • “Totally relatable … once kids start exploring online, brands and trends become a whole new world,” one user wrote.

  • Another added, “Good girl. Honestly speaking kids know nothing about brands until their parents introduce them or they are exposed to them.”

Cardi B’s approach shows that even in a world of celebrity excess, some parenting moments can still embrace simplicity, joy, and letting kids make their own choices.

This glimpse into Kulture’s wishlist is a reminder that children don’t need luxury labels to be happy—sometimes, a simple set of outfits and the freedom to choose is more than enough. For fans of Cardi B, it’s another opportunity to see her balance her superstar lifestyle with grounded, relatable parenting moments.
