Internet users recently reacted to an innocent yet hilarious video shared on TikTok where a young boy showed concern about his mother’s weight.

The clip that became popular on TikTok with 2.8 million views and over 300 000 likes, which was shared by a TikTok user going by the username of @zuluboy129 left many wishing to see the slender mother, a cute young boy asking her mother in a distressed demeanour why is her body slim or is she hungry. His mother responds that God made her that way.

His mother’s answer does not stop his anxious gaze, as the boy resorts to remarking that he and his grandmother are big because they eat. As it sinks in on him that God made her mother slender, he displays a confused look and asks if his mother does not want food. In the end, the young boy advises his mother to not eat slowly and finish her food so she can also be a big girl.

“You become a big girl when you eat mom, can you see I’m a big boy and my granny is a big girl,” he advised.

TikTok users commented on the video.

One user said: “Lol I’d like to see the slender because he is so concerned about you.”

Another one said: “He thinks people who are slender are hungry.”

While another one said: “I blame uMakhulu in all this, it sounds like umakhulu tells him these things when she wants him to eat. Something like uyob’islender nje ngo mama (you will be slender like your mother).”
