Multi-award-winning actor, Bongile Mantsai will grace the screens of Mzansi once more as he joins the cast of ETV Scandal! to reprise his infamous character as Mthunzi Mayiza.

The channel left social media buzzing when they confirmed the return of Bongile and announced the new characters that will join the cast. Mthunzi started off as charismatic and charming. However, he turned out to be a chameleon who changed depending on each person he met. It was later revealed that Mthunzi yearned revenge on the Langa family because he believed that they killed his father.

In the process, he inflicted pain on so many people and ended up killing the Langa patriarch who was played by Hlomla Dandala. His last appearance on Scandal! saw chickens coming to roost for him, when his crimes caught up with him, leading to his arrest.
