South African media personality Boity Thulo had fans in shock after she revealed she doesn’t have any university qualifications.

Boity has been in the entertainment industry for years and is one of the country’s most popular and well-known names.

The star has gone from her own reality TV show, rapping, presenting as well as having her own signature beverage.

She tweeted about how a friend of hers had a brand-new car in her first year of varsity. A fan then asked her whether she had a university qualification, to which she simply replied: “Nope.”

Her parents bought her a brand new Ford Focus ST to use for getting around in first year varsity. I knew people with 9-5s that couldn’t afford that car. We were shook. ? https://t.co/PInWjWW5E8

According to The South African, Boity reportedly did go to university and took up French as one of her subjects. She was said to have registered at Monash University in Johannesburg and was a double major student studying Psychology and Criminology.

She jokingly tweeted back in the day that if her mom didn’t run out of money, she would have been a criminal psychologist by now.

“If my mom hadn’t run of out money for my University fees, I would have been a Criminal Psychologist/Serial killer Profiler by now. But God had other plans for me.”
