Boity shows gratitude to Lebo M for invitation to Lion King

South African rapper and media personality, Boitumelo ‘Boity’ Thulo recently noted down her heartfelt gratitude to South African music theatre icon Lebo M for inviting her to the Lion King 30th anniversary concert in Los Angeles.

Boity who has been living it up in LA and had an opportunity to rub shoulders with reality TV star Kim Kardashian, recently took to her Instagram page to share her gratitude to Lebo M for an invitation to her ‘childhood dream’ Lion King 30th anniversary concert, which was held at the Hollywood bowl.

The Wuz Dat rapper said Lebo M’s music and contribution to the legacy of the Lion King has been unmatched, and his songs has been part of her childhood.

A few days earlier Boity had social media in a stir after sharing a picture of her with Kim Kardashian captioned: “A night to remember.” DJ Zinhle commented: “You met Kim.” While Ayanda Thabethe said, “I have no choice but to stan.”

Kim’s daughter, North West made her acting debut as Young Simba during the concert. Lebo M also took to the stage alongside Jennifer Hudson. The veteran who had arranged and performed music for the Lion King film series and stage productions, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share pictures captioned: “Preparing to conquer Dubai.”
