Boitumelo ‘Boity’ Thulo has once again blessed South Africa’s ears by dropping another freestyle. This time, it was done over Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes’ track Mbuzi, where she addressed the ANC while also making mention of AKA, Riky Rick, and Costa Titch. Some tweeps were, however not feeling the lyrics.

In the video, she raps, “Fresh off the jet. First of all RIP to Supa Meg. Who would have thought that a rapper of his stature would be seen taking bullets to the head? And that sh*t came right after Riky Rick, and after that we lost uCosta Titch.”

Regarding the ANC, Boity raps, “Do you know the word kakistocracy? If you don’t, look it up so we politik. This economy’s got us standing still, and the ANC – Always apologies!”

Boity’s bars about the rappers had a few tweeps thinking it was more of a diss than a tribute. A tweep with the handle @6uhle shared a snippet of Boity’s video and said, “No cause what the hell is this supposed to mean?”

The tweep then commented, “Like do yall understand how disrespectful this is, people literally DIED.”

like do yall understand how disrespectful this is, people literally DIED?

Other tweeps shared the same feelings as @6uhle.

Nah that line about Aka was absolutely unnecessary and distasteful. Whoever told her she can rap lied. https://t.co/XLVStDdDbp

However, there were also tweeps who felt Boity’s bars were not distasteful at all.

Lol guys leave Hip Hop things to Hip Hop people..Hip Hop fans know what she meant and y’all are just fishing for something that’s not there aii?? https://t.co/oS2TengsZM

Boity also shared another video where she recognised DJs DBN GOGO and Uncle Waffles, and actress Thuso Mbedu.
