Bogus Dr Matthew has been charged

Social media users are still in heavy conversations and digging for answers after news that the famous TikTok medical doctor Dr Matthew Bongani Lani could be a fake doctor surfaced.

The TikTok doctor who has been featured on radio and television shows sharing his painful story of surviving and making it experiencing abuse that led to him being intentionally infected with the HIV virus.

Answering questions posed by bloggers and some social media users, Matthew stuck to his word claiming that even if he was to show his qualification people were still going to claim it was fake or find something bad to say.

Sadly, all this acting had to come to an end as the Gauteng’s MEC for health Mrs Nomantu Nkom0 – Ralehoko reiterated that he is not a doctor.

Questioned by journalists on the matter the MEC responded:

“That’s not doctor that one I’m not even going to comment because already handed him to the police there are investigations that are still being done because I want him to go to jail so let me not talk about that one. Don’t call that one a doctor.”

The Department of Education also confirmed that Matthew does not hold a matric certificate, adding:

“NO RECORD OF MATRIC CERTIFICATE FOR BOGUS DR MATTHEW LANI @EducationGP1 can confirm that there is no existing record of a National Senior Certificate (NSC), or matric certificate, for Matthew Bongani Lani, who has been masquerading on social media as a medical practitioner.”
