Following the recent success of South African singer-songwriter Tyla, another mzansi star will be looking to capitalise on the opportunity to lay down his mark on international soil.

It has recently been confirmed that rapper, singer and songwriter Blxckie will be going on his first international music tour.

The talented musician was among many artists who were invited to perform alongside Sudanese-American rapper Bas to promote his latest album. According to reports by Sunday World, Bas is one of the artists signed to J.Cole’s record label – Dreamville.

Meanwhile, the rest of the artists set to make their appearance on the North American tour include Hoosh and Reuben Vincent.

Taking to social media, Blxckie could not contain his excitement, writing:

“I’m so happy to take my music to international stages this year, with this being the first. Thank you to Bas and the Dreamville family for bringing me out. This will be my first time touring the States, I can’t wait to see and meet fans on the road.”

Despite this being the first time that Blxckie is set to tour America, it will not be his first time there.

In March last year, the star visited the country and landed himself in the studio with world-renowned American singer Nelly Furtado.
