Blxckie allegedly spends R1m on chain

While in America, rapper Blxckie made his way to every rapper’s favourite jewellery store, Icebox, and reportedly paid R1 million for his new, custom-made chain.

Taking to Instagram while in Atlanta, Georgia, the Sika rapper shared that he collected his custom “Yena Yedwa” chain from Icebox. He wrote, “The hottest, the greatest, the first to do it. ?+ I had to collect the ‘Yena Yedwa’ custom mgexo way from @icebox just to say well aweh wakyn. Dankie hip hop.”

Many industry mates and fans took to the rapper’s comments section to congratulate him and send messages of support.

“Yebo yess ??,” wrote the Major League DJz.

Rapper Priddy Ugly shared some emojis: “???.”

“You look right at home. Culture,” wrote a fan.

While another fan thought the purchase was “inspirational.”

The bejeweled chain – which translates to “Him Alone” in isiZulu – allegedly cost Blxckie a staggering R1 million, according to Freshmen Magazine.

After hearing what Blxckie might have made for the chain, social media users had plenty to say.

“What a waste of money for material sh*t.”

“Personally, he should’ve invested it into the music industry this side, start his own Cotton Fest or something like that but that’s just me.”

“We need a slip of that chain we are tired of being fooled by celebrities ???.”
