KZN-born hip-hop duo Blaq Diamond has released a tribute song for the late rappers and dear friends Bokang Moleli and Lizwilenkosi Mtshali, who were popularly known by their aliases Malome Vector and Lizwi Wokuqala.

The news comes shortly after their record label Ambitiouz Entertainment reported their death. The Lesotho-born rapper and his collaborators were reportedly on their way to his home country from Johannesburg to shoot a music video, when the horrific accident occurred on the N1.

A total of three people succumbed to their injuries, while three others were transported to a nearby hospital.

The duo, who had formed a close relationship with Malome Vector and Lizwi Wokuqala took to their Instagram to express their grief and gratitude for the journey they got to share with the young artists.

“Rest in peace, our dear brothers, your legacies will continue to inspire and resonate with music lovers everywhere,” the statement published by Blaq Diamond on behalf of Umuthi Records read.

Since then, the duo has released a song and a music video to honour the memory of their brothers. With the title ‘Again’, the song embodies the unique but familiar Blaq Diamond sound we have come to know and love. With a catchy hook and emotional verses, the song is sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners and lovers of music.

Internet users and Malome Vector’s fans took to the comments to express their approval of the song. They feel as though the rappers did justice to the memory of their fellow artists.

It’s a top-tier banger?? May he rest in peace.
