South African rapper and songwriter Siyabonga Nene, popularly known as Big Zulu, bought a fan a pair of Carvela shoes after the fan asked for them in the rapper’s comment section.

Taking to Instagram, Big Zulu posted a screenshot of a comment that he received from his Facebook post. A fan (Thabo Joe) had pleaded with him to share a pair of Carvela shoes that he no longer wears. Big Zulu’s response informed the fan that they should meet at the retailer Spitz in order for the fan to get a new pair instead of Big Zulu’s old ones.

The post included pictures of the rapper and Thabo at the store.

In his caption, Big Zulu thanked people for connecting him with Thabo: “Ngiyabonga kakhulu ugcine eyitholile umfwethu Carvela angicele yona siyabonga kakhulu (Thank you so much, my brother got his Carvela).”

Social media users and friends commented on how big the Umbayimbayi hitmaker’s heart is. They said:

“Siyambongela. Ingathi sekethole nentombi (We are happy for him. Looks like he also has a girlfriend) (last frame).”

Another social media user used this opportunity to write his own request when he jokingly copied Thabo’s comment and changed the Carvela to a car: “Bhuti cela ukubuza ukuth awunayo nje imoto endala kulezi ohlezi uzigibela, yaz ngyay thanda inkinga angikhoni ukuyithenga. Noma esehlezi nje egarage cela ungipha yona (Brother, could I please, don’t you have a car that is old? I love it, but the problem is that I can’t afford it).”
