Big Nuz member, Danger, wants out of Tira’s record label

Would it mean that the Big Nuz era will come to an end if the group’s only surviving member Danger leaves DJ Tira’s record label?

Award-winning Kwaito group, Big Nuz, which consisted of the late artists: R. Mashesha and Mampintsha, might be no more if Danger, whose real name is Mzingisi Tshomela, decides to leave record producer and DJ Tira’s Afrotainment label.

Back in 2018, news publication, DailySun reported that Danger had already parted ways with Mampintsha after trying his best to reconcile the group.

A close source told the above-mentioned publication that after Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo’s decision to start West Ink,  Danger started his record label called 108 Entertainment.

Despite having started his label, Danger was always under DJ Tira’s Afrotainment label, which he, according to entertainment publication, ZiMoja, wanted out due to his unhappiness. It is also reported that Danger wanted to keep the Big Nuz legacy alive by performing with the group’s co-founder, Bhar.

A close source told the entertainment publication that Danger and DJ Tira’s relationship has been estranged since the passing of his two members and that the record producer is no longer interested in building the group’s brand, despite it bringing in a lot of revenue since 2009.

“Today DJ Tira has forgotten about all that. He doesn’t have time for Danger because the outspoken member, Mampintsha, is no more.” adding, “It’s not like DJ Tira has not done anything for Danger. In 2018, DJ Tira featured in Danger’s solo project Dangerous, but the song was not well received by the fans of Big Nuz.”
