After choosing to take home R250,000 and not continue to participate in the quest to win R2 million, Big Brother Mzansi-evicted housemate Liema Pantsi reveals how she will spend her cash prize.

In one of the episodes of the reality competition series, the season four contestant entered the Fate Room and was given 60 seconds to make her decision of either leaving early with thousands or staying on for possible millions.

The 22-year-old told IOL Entertainment, “I wanted to go back to the house but since I didn’t hear the rules and I was really nervous while everything was happening, I took the money.”

Liema also shares that she was quite doubtful of her decision at first but then realised she was making a “good decision.”

She adds, “Nothing is guaranteed, I wanted to be in the top 5 but God had His plans for me, which I think we’re very good for me.”

Did you know that Liema was presented with the following options: take an R250 000 cheque and exit the game, or stay in the house and take a shot at the R2 million grand prize.

When asked about her plans with the money, Liema shared with the publication mentioned above that will be funding her music career while also investing in her craft and opening a skincare business.

Although some may see the above as good investments, at the time of her decision, many internet users expressed their frustration in her choice. However, radio personality Sol Phenduka applauded her, calling the move smart.

“ALWAYS TAKE THE MONEY. That’s a win. A free 250k. Aowa guys.”

So Liema was offered 250k in the big brother house only if she exits the game .
