After facing a few obstacles and challenges, the popular BET show ‘Queendom’ is set to return after production was halted due to Clive Morris Productions being unable to pay their cast and crew’s salaries.

Taking to their Instagram, BET Africa announced that the wait is officially over for fans of the coveted show as it is set to return this September.

“The show you thought was gone forever makes a royal return! Nina BaManzi, #BETQueendom is back by popular demand. Love, power, and betrayal await,” the caption reads.

According to IOL, the show will return with a thrilling plot, where a royal showdown takes place where Prince Banzi is confronted by Prince Andile with regards to the throne, while Ntando is left to make difficult decisions now that she is aware of her royal bloodline. The show promises to return with the same intensity it was once known for before production was halted.

“I’m thrilled that Queendom is returning to screens this September, taking the drama and intrigue to a whole new level, and I can’t wait for fans to see how these powerful storylines unfold,” lead actress Linda Mtoba tells the publication.

Avid watchers of the show wasted no time expressing their excitement upon hearing the news of the show’s return. However, some users did not hold back, expressing their disappointment with the show being cancelled in the first place.

It’s really disappointing so are they going to start where they stop?
