Beloved actress Lebogang ‘Lettie’ Mpyana dies at 34

Actress and comedian Lebohang “Lettie” Mpyana, beloved by many for her remarkable talents, has tragically died at the age of 34.

Her family has shared the heartbreaking news, confirming that she died on Wednesday after bravely battling a short illness. Lebogang’s contributions to the world of entertainment will be remembered and cherished by fans and colleagues alike.

“It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our daughter Lebogang Mpyana. Lebo died after a short illness. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers in this time of bereavement. Memorial service and funeral details will follow,” the family said.

In DiepCity, she portrayed the role of Khelina, a confident and cheerful wife to Ringtone. Her co-stars in the series included celebrated actors such as Dawn Thandeka King, Mduduzi Mabaso, Sonia Mbele, and Hamilton Dlamini.
