Big Brother Mzansi reality TV host Lawrence Maleka defended Big Brother against critics who didn’t like his new voice. Viewers of the long-running TV series, now in its fourth season, expressed their dissatisfaction with the new voice of Big Brother, also known as ‘Biggie’.
As in previous seasons, Big Brother had a profound and authoritative voice, but the current voice is more soft-spoken, which has not gone down well with some fans.
On X (formerly Twitter), the TV host replied to a user’s comment, adding that you won’t always be perfect when you start new things and that it takes time for some people to get the hang of it and do them right. This reply comes after X users referred to the voice as Big Brother lite.
Think of the first time you started at something, how you prayed that it works out and how kind and patient those who were far more experienced then you were or rather how you wish they could have been. https://t.co/U8p5mBWUjv

An X user agreed with Lawrence’s statement, adding, “Best answer ever; he will get the hang of it and is already improving. I wonder what the ones complaining would do if they were to know there was once a lady Biggie.”

Another X user commented that it’s important to give people a chance to prove themselves as we expect the same from them.
Wow. What an eye opening response. We often expect grace from others but are not willing to give out grace. Thank you Lawrence. Will definitely give him a chance
