Basetsana Kumalo and hubby celebrates 23-year anniversary

South African power couple Basetsana and her husband Romeo Kumalo recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary.

The pair make a dynamic duo as they show off just how strong a relationship can be with good support, quality time, and communication.

Towards the end of this year, the two came out victorious after a five-year-long court case against author Jackie Phamoste for defamation of character following a tweet, in which the latter posted that the couple had engaged in a threesome sexual act with another male.

Despite everything, their unity has proven to be rock solid as it stood the test of time, which is also why the mother of two often shares a post or two to celebrate Romeo for his role in their lives.

More recently she penned a heartfelt note as she reflected on the last 23 years of being married.

“Twenty-six years of knowing you and loving you…feels just like yesterday. Twenty-three years of being married to you. What a ride it has been, and I wouldn’t change anything. I would marry you again and again and again. I married my best friend, my confidant.

“Thank you for being my number one cheerleader and supporter. With you I feel safe, I know I am deeply loved and protected. Thank you for the blessing of our three amazing children, thank you for your devotion to us, thank you for being a great father,” she added.

Accompanying her note was a highlight reel of their 23 years together with George Benson’s “Nothing’s gonna change my love for You,” proudly playing in the background.
