Afro-pop singer and traditional healer Phelo Bala alleges that someone close to him stole one of his songs.

Phelo known as the youngest member of the trio, Bala Brothers, has gone on a rant to expose one of his brothers for stealing his song.

According to the entertainment publication, ZiMoja, the musician said, “I’m so tired! How does your brother steal your song? I’m not done with talking now. I will finish you! Who do you think you are?! I will mention you now! Ask your fans! I’m ready.”

The above-mentioned source also stated that the alleged person was none other than his older brother Zwai Bala. On their reality show, The Bala Family. Phelo and Tkzee member, Zwai never see eye to eye on issues that they have with one another, leading Phelo to state that he has a better relationship with his other brother Loyiso.

Since leaving the trio to pursue his solo career and focus on his calling, Phelo has gone on to release a few songs.

“Their relationship has always been rocky. They seem to always clash. Zwai is not always right, but he has no right to judge,” adding, “But in any case, this time, stealing an entire song is a big issue. At least ask to work together,” said a close source.

Many X (formerly known as Twitter) users shared their thoughts on Zwai stealing Phelo’s song and not crediting him for it.

One user said:

Zwai took over a song made by the two of them and run with it without Phelo. Phelo was angry and said stuff about Zwai. Zwai should understand that it was said out of anger and Phelo had all the rights. Zwai act like a person with bipolar at times #TheBalaFamily pic.twitter.com/BTXtjBNCg9

Other users added:

Phelo is right, the context of the message is important “how did we get here”. Zwai is evading accountability for stealing the song and now focusing on the messages. He is literally saying that Phelo shouldn’t ask about his work because he has done a lot for him. #TheBalaFamily
