Babes Wodumo says ‘it’s different without my Mampintsha’

South African Gqom star Bongekile Simelane, better known as Babes Wodumo, revealed that her life has been different since her husband Mampintsha died. 

The Wololo hitmaker also confirmed the renewal of her reality TV show for a third season over the past weekend.

During her recent interview with ZiMoja, the Gqom star revealed that viewers should expect “more drama.” She also talked about how she has been coping since the death of her husband Mampintsha.

“It feels great to be getting back into the swing of things again,” she says. “I had my time to grieve properly, so I’m just so excited,” she told the publication mentioned above.

The mother of one also revealed to the publication that it has been “different” to continue her life without Mampintsha.

“It’s been different without my Mampintsha. I had to learn to make decisions on my own. Before I used to make decisions with Mampintsha, so I’m doing everything on my own with the help of my team, but all is well,” she adds.

The Queen of Gqom also touched on her upcoming reality show, sharing what viewers can expect: 

“More drama, a lot about how my life has been after the passing of my husband, my struggles and challenges of being a single mom having to wear my queen crown with pride and finding my feet.”

Babes further announced that her album will be released soon.

“My album is coming out next month, fans will get to hear the last magic we poured out on this album,” she says.
