Renowned sound engineer and content producer AyaProw has finally put the ongoing speculation surrounding his exit from Mac G’s Podcast and Chill to rest.

Known for being the sound engineer to the popular Podcast & Chill show, AyaProw, real name Ayabulela Phakade became a big part the network’s family. Not only was he tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that production runs smoothly from behind the scenes, but he would also occasionally add his voice on air.

After two years of building a strong presence and relationship with fans, he ended his journey which ultimately sparked rumours of a fallout with lead host, Mac G.

In a recent episode of Cultures Biggest Podcast, AyaProw revealed that his departure was influenced by his desire to develop and evolve in various aspects of his career.

“I made the decision of leaving the podcast which put me in a great position to tap into other things,” he explained.

AyaProw says that before joining the show, he was clear about his intentions for the future, it was only later that disagreements occurred when he tried actively pursuing his initial ideas.

“Later there were lots of disagreements, and I realised I had to leave so I could grow myself,” he continued.

The talented creative currently works as a content producer and is also the proud owner of BiggFunMedia.

Looking back, he said that the journey of getting to this position was far from easy, but later everything came together beautifully.

“Everyday I thank God this is my purpose”.
