Ask a Man: From radio to the screen

The much-anticipated radio segment hosted by The Naked DJ and Somizi Mhlongo will air on TV screens all over Mzansi. On 2 November 2026 at 19:00, fans of the radio segment will now get to watch the show on S3.

The show can also be streamed on SABC Plus, keeping all of the core aspects that make the radio segment what it is.

According to the broadcaster, the expansion from radio to television builds on the segment’s connection to audiences by extending the conversations into a new space where diverse perspectives can take centre stage.

The radio segment has created a safe space for open and relatable discussions about love, dating, commitment, and the realities of navigating relationships.

The hosts are known for their candid approach when offering advice to anonymous callers looking for guidance to navigate the situations they find themselves in.

This is an aspect of the show that S3 assures viewers will be on the show, as it aims to unpack issues that resonate with audiences, encouraging viewers to explore familiar relationship dilemmas from different points of view.

Story submissions

S3 asked viewers, audiences, and everyday people to send in their stories, dilemmas, and questions they may not have the courage to ask and extended its appreciation to the responses it has since received.

“The response reflects the value of creating platforms where people can raise questions, share experiences, and engage with relationship issues that matter to them,” they wrote.
