Another day, another Elton Jantjies drama: Ex-Springbok’s partying ways leave him homeless?

Disgraced former Springbok rugby star Elton Jantjies is reportedly homeless, a shocking fall from grace for the once-celebrated athlete.

According to Zimoja, the controversial player has been unceremoniously kicked out by his mother and a former friend, leaving him without a place to call home.

A source told the publication that Jantjies’ wild partying habits first forced him out of his mother’s house, and then, when he moved in with an old school friend, his lifestyle spiralled further out of control.

The insider detailed Jantjies’ alleged chaotic lifestyle, which his friend refused to accommodate.

The former Springbok reportedly invited sex workers over, allegedly took drugs, and played loud music through the night.

This unruly behaviour eventually led to his eviction from the friend’s home. Zimoja also reported that Jantjies has delved into a new, questionable business venture in the gold market, where he’s allegedly mingling with hackers and other unsavoury individuals.

Meanwhile, Jantjies’ estranged ex-wife, Iva Ristic, seems to be flourishing without him.

The mother of his three children has been sharing joyful photos of herself and her new “soulmate” on Instagram, enjoying a fresh start.

She recently expressed her gratitude to her mystery man, thanking him for being her best friend and publicly declaring her love for him.

Jantjies’ personal and professional life has been marred by scandal and upheaval.

Since his reported affair with Springboks’ former dietician Zeenat Simjee in 2022, his reputation has steadily declined.

He has also faced legal battles, including a protection order filed by a former lover. Professionally, he suffered a major setback when according to Reuters he received a four-year ban from rugby after testing positive for a controlled substance.

Despite the drama, Jantjies recently announced on Instagram, as reported by IOL, that he plans to step into the ring for an MMA and charity boxing event in Durban this November.
