Birthday celebrations are always about celebrating yourself and receiving gifts and love from your loved ones. Businesswoman and reality TV star, Angel Nqobile Ndlela flipped the script when she chose to be on the other end, by donating on her birthday.

Angel who is part of the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) cast recently visited a local Primary School in Swayimana to donate school bags to the learners. Captioning her post, she said: “Year 31. Birthdays are days of receiving, but this year I decided to be on the giving end. Spent the day at Bruynshill Primary School in Swayimana , donating bags to their wonderful learners. God has blessed me so much, so it is very important for me to thank him this way,” she penned.

“For my birthday, I gave back school bags to the wonderful Brynhill Primary School in Swayimana — a simple reminder that access to tools like stationery and backpacks isn’t a privilege, it’s a right. Education is lighter when carried with dignity. While the access education is an important factor is every child’s life, so is ability to walk into school with confidence, equipped with the basics that make learning easier and brighter,” she said.
