Anele Zondo breaks silence about Ciza being baby daddy

by Silindokuhle Booi

South African rapper Anele Zondo recently found herself at the center of rumours surrounding her personal life.

The speculation began when Ciza, the son of TK Nciza and Nhlanhla Mafu, mentioned being a father in an interview with MacG and Sol Phenduka on Podcast & Chill. Fans quickly jumped to conclusions, suggesting that Anele Zondo was involved with Ciza and that he was the father of her child.

The rumours gained traction, with some fans comparing Anele’s alleged relationship with Ciza to other high-profile couples, like Sithelo Shozi and Andile Mpisane. Anele faced a barrage of comments and messages, with many speculating about her relationship with Ciza.

Anele Zondo addressed the rumors with a subtle post on her TikTok page, sharing a video of herself dancing to Ciza’s popular song, Isaka (6 am). In the caption, she seemed to shade those accusing her of dating a younger man, mentioning that she couldn’t enjoy the Isaka challenge due to fans spreading false narratives about her relationship with Ciza.

Social media users took to the comments section to share their opinions, with some telling Anele to stop denying the rumors, claiming they had evidence that Ciza was her baby daddy. Others urged celebrities to be more mindful of what they share about their private lives if they don’t want fans to speculate and meddle in their affairs.

One said: “Celebrities kill me, they are the ones telling us their business and get shocked when people investigate. You didn’t even need to tell us umithi.”

Another one wrote, “Bathi, you’re eleven years older than your baby daddy.”

One added: “The internet is so entitled, you don’t owe anyone an explanation!!!Bazoyeka ukuba ogaxekile endabeni zabantu bahlulwa ezabo.”

“The repost told us everything we needed to know,” said one.
