Rappers Anele Zondo and L-Tido have quickly become the talk of the town across various social media platforms. This comes after a viral clip of them sharing an unexpected yet raunchy smooch while filming an episode of the L-Tido Podcast.
After dominating South Africa’s music charts throughout the 2010s, Thato Madonsela, who is more popularly known as L-Tido, forged a new path for himself in the industry when he established his podcast in 2024.
After a few episodes, it was clear that the L-Tido Podcast was destined for greatness, and one year later, he has garnered 151K subscribers on YouTube.
Boasting star-studded guests such as the late AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Scotts Maphuma, Emtee, and more, the ‘Dlala ka Yona’ hitmaker’s podcast has become one of the most popular and successful channels, particularly among some industry favourites.
Recently, the popular channel saw Newcastle’s very own Anele Zondo, aka Ney-the-bae, making this week’s guest appearance.
Although they got into some interesting talking points, Anele’s brave move to step up to L-Tido for a steamy kiss after he admitted to having a crush on her has had the people talking since the episode dropped.

As expected, the clip has garnered an overwhelming response filled with a range of reactions, including some that have expressed jealousy towards L-Tido, as it should be them kissing Anele instead. Meanwhile, others have side-eyed the whole situation, labelling it as strange.
