Anele Mdoda left many of her followers in awe when she performed a beautiful act of kindness flying 16-year-old high school learner and singer Siyolisiwe Futuse and her mother to Joburg on a trip of a lifetime.
Siyolisiwe Futuse is a learner whose TikTok video of her rendition of Naughty Boy ft Beyonce Running song caught the eyes and hearts of many South Africans including Anele Mdoda. Upon seeing the viral video and hearing Siyolisiswe’s re-arrangement of the melody, Anele shared the video on her social media tagging singer Lloyiso Gijima and captioned her post:
“Errrrrr @lloyiso_rsa we obviously have to see what would happen.”
Anele went on to contact Siyolisiwe and flew her and her mother to Joburg, booked them a hotel and invited them to attend and perform at the finale party of the Masked Singer SA last weekend. She shared this through a video Siyolisiwe sent her where she captioned her journey while enjoying many firsts, including her first time eating Mcdonald’s food.
Sharing the video sent to her by the learner, Anele captioned her post:
“Siyolisiwe Futuse graced us with her talent at the Masked Singer SA finale party and left her heart on the stage. She just sent me this video that she recorded of her first trip to JHB with her mom. Enjoy the purity of it. I cannot wait to watch this one bloom into a world star?????.”
