Tyra Banks will revisit ‘America’s Next Top Model’ in a new docu-series featuring smizing, makeovers, and trauma, which is set to premiere in February.

America’s Next Top Model fans have been waiting for Tyra Banks to speak out against the allegations that have been circling the show for years.

The popular reality show is being revisited by Tyra Banks, a former contestant and judge. Netflix released a trailer announcing a new three-part docu-series titled “Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model” which is set to premiere on February 16 2026.

The series will take a deep look back at the reality show that defined early 2000s television and shaped an entire generation’s understanding of beauty, fame and how problematic the show was.

According to the global giant Netflix, the docu-series will be hosted and executive-produced by Banks herself as it revisits ANTM’s rise from a TV experiment to a full-blown pop culture phenomenon.

“I haven’t really said much, but now it’s time.”

During the show’s peak, it pulled a global audience of over 100 million viewers, produced international spin-offs and delivered moments that still live rent-free on the internet.

This new docu-series will not be a trip down memory lane, but will shed light on the reality behind the scenes of the show. It will unpack the pressure behind the scenes, the intense criticism that aspiring models faced and the moments that have since been looked at through woke eyes.

Although the show broke barriers by putting diverse faces on mainstream television, it still pushed contestants to their limits for entertainment purposes. Is it now time for Banks to face the consequences?
