“Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss. Rest In Malome Vector.”

According to TshisaLive, the rap artists and others were on their way to shoot a music video when tragedy struck.

“Three males died, a female sustained a moderate to serious injury and a male sustained a serious but salvageable injury,” a source told the publication.

When news of Malome’s death hit social media, there was confusion about who was in the car with him, including fellow artists Wave Rhyder and Ntate Stunna.

Ambitiouz Entertainment clarified persistent rumours and said, “R.I.P to Malome Vector. We would like to confirm that Wave Rhyder was not involved in the accident. Our thoughts are with all affected during this difficult time.”

Malome started writing music at age 14 and later dabbled in music production. Combining Afropop elements in his tracks, the artist released his music independently.

His collaboration with Blaq Diamond kicked out hits such as Price to Pay and Dumelang.

This music artist leaves behind his wife and daughter.
