With just over a week to go until the Springboks face their biggest foe, the All Blacks in round three of this year’s Rugby Championship, the opposition has taken it upon themselves to take the first jab at the South Africans.
With the Boks currently travelling to the Oceanian continent, rugby content producer Jordan Buhrs recently took to his TikTok page showing just how ready the opposition are to face the current World Cup title holders.
Enroute to New Zealand, Jordan revealed a television advert currently playing in the country which shows actor Hennie Jacobs, best known for his role as Diederick Greyling in the old Afrikaans soapie 7 de Laan assuming the role of a devoted Bok supporter entering a local barbershop while boasting about what his team will do to the All Blacks. Meanwhile, in the waiting seat is current star Ardie Aavea, as well as two other teammates.
“The World Champs are coming. The All Blacks will be like little lamb chops on a braai”, the Bok fan boasted.
In a dramatic turn of events, the camera later zooms in on the fan’s head which shows a fern logo faded behind this head. To this Ardie jokingly comments, “Nice Fade!”

A match between the green and gold warriors and the mighty men dressed in black has always made an epic encounter. The two teams have a history that stretches over one hundred years and have met one another twice in a final of Rugby’s biggest competition, the Rugby World Cup.
With the Springboks being the sport’s front runners having been the first to win four World Cups, followed by their rivals New Zealand who currently hold three, the men in black will have a point to prove on the 6th September when they put their 50 match Eden Park Stadium unbeaten streak on the line to overcome the Boks.
With so much on the line, they will have to put their best foot forward to beat Rassie and his team.
