Actress Thabisile Zikhali who is well known for the characters she portrayed on Uzalo, Isitha: The Enemy and The Black Door to name a few has recently announced that she has opened her own beauty salon.

Lavish Beauty Salon based in Midrand, a halfway house in Johannesburg will offer haircuts, nails, hairstyling, makeup and lashes once it is fully operational.

The thespian recently took to her Instagram page to share photos of her beauty salon with a bible quote as a caption, that read, “When the time is right, I, the Lord will make it happen.”

In a post, Thabisile recalled when she used to run an informal salon in her dining room while she was still in primary school. She said every weekend she would braid her neighbours’ hair. She remembered that she had a board stuck on their gate inviting potential customers, and most of them would pay for her services; except for her mom, sister and aunt.

The star said she continued running her informal salon at her residence when she went to university and remembers writing a business proposal in primary school with plans to turn their home garage into a salon, however, she didn’t have resources.
