Actor Melusi Mbele set to join ‘The Butcher’s Soul’ series

Actor, presenter and businessman Melusi Mbele revealed that he will be joining Showmax’s thriller series ‘The Butcher’s soul’ which premiers on the 2nd of August 2024.

The actor known for his powerful and versatile acting skills is anticipated to add depth and intensity in the thriller series as he plays the leading role of a father desperate to save his daughter from the angel of death, who gave him seven days to deliver her guilty souls,  in exchange for her daughter’s life.

In the Showmax’s original series, Melusi will be acting alongside Vuyo Dabula and Katlego Danke. He shared the exciting news on social media with the caption: “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, ‘The Butcher’s Soul’.”

He has also graced the South African screen in popular shows such as Rhythm City as Zolani, Isbaya as Bhekumuzi and Isidingo to name a few. The SAFTA winner for Best Actor in a TV Soapie recently announced on Instagram his departure from the etv drama series, Scandal where he played a businessman, Jojo Kubheka:
