South African actress, Khanyi Mbau, recently celebrated her 38th birthday and did so in style, as she went to Dubai for a luxury island getaway.
Khanyi’s birthday was on 15 October and she took to Instagram and wrote a message to wish herself for her birthday.
“Yesterday was incredible ✨ Thank you all for my birthday wishes and messages I truly felt loved. ? @nadinemerabi loved my birthday dress thank you. ? To my love @k_iam_47 , my birthday was magical and what I wanted. Thank you for making everything and beyond. Thank you for being here, yesterday , today and in this moment. I love you. ❤️?” she said.
She then also uploaded the video of her Dubai trip. The video shows her arrival by boat, getting done at the hotel, relaxing poolside and celebrating with some balloons on the beach before she got dressed up in a black dress and headed out for the night.

Her partner, businessman Kudzai Mushonga, also took to his Instagram timeline to post a message to Khanyi on her birthday
“I would like to wish a Happy Birthday to my BabyRedHeart❤️❤️❤️. May God continue to give you many more years. I love you to the moon and back. May this day be filled with so much happiness, love and joy. Happy Birthday my Queen??”
TimesLIVE reported that the pair recently rekindled their romance after they were rumoured to have broken up but they have been sharing snaps of themselves on Instagram all loved-up. Though known for their on-and-off relationship, they always seem to find each other again.
