Mzwanele Manyi

Former government spokesperson, Manyi is a political figure, who formed the All Africa Decolonisation Congress (AADC). He was later dismissed from the party and is currently part of the African Transformation Movement (ATM) and a spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation.

Mzwanele Manyi was mockingly called out on Twitter for attending the five-star event organised by convicted Facebook rapist Thabo Bester at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton.

Dr. Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani, better known as Dr. Pashy

Socialite and medical doctor, Dr. Pashy, through her foundation, the Dr Pashy Foundation, in collaboration with Power Women Group and International Power Women Foundation hosted a women’s seminar where accomplice Dr. Nandipha was a guest speaker back in 2020. Later, the Dr. Pashy Foundation then reportedly entered into a public relations management agreement with a company owned by Dr. Nandipha, Vibes Africa Incorporation International.

According to reports, Magudumana was travelling under Dr. Pashy’s name when she and Bester were arrested in Tanzania.

Phumudzo Thenga

Thenga was the sole director of 21st Century Media, the media company allegedly run by Bester from the Mangaung correctional centre. 21st Century Media is also responsible for drawing in a ton of A-listers at the “Women in Media” conference in Sandton.

After the story of Bester and Dr. Nandipha broke, the company closed down and Thenga went on to create Lwendo.

According to a GroundUp report, this new group of companies started off offering media services, but as it turns out Lwendo is now a company dedicated to supplying and transporting fuel and coal.

Its clients include the likes of Eskom, Exxaro, and Emfuleni Municipality.

Thenga is also married to a senior official in Ekurhuleni Municipality and claims to be a victim of Bester.

Former Miss Rwanda, Jolly Mutesi

Miss Rwanda 2016, Jolly Mutesi recently revealed that she was targeted by Bester and Dr. Nandipha’s media company, Arum Holdings to go to Cape Town under the guise of a Netflix show starring reality TV star, Kylie Jenner and Canadian musician, Drake.

In this case, Bester was operating under an alias, TK Nkwana, and offered Mutesi a $3m deal.

According to IOL, she did her due diligence and requested the company’s profile, an official invitation, and a hotel booking, which she presented to the authorities for advice and help me to know how legit it was.

“I was advised not to go because everything found about the company was screaming scam,” said Mutesi.
