8 Stellar South African female thespians

While the entertainment industry is the home and field of many career opportunities such as screenwriting, music, events, film and television production, animation and visual effects, today we would like to highlight the field of acting and performances.

While the South African field of acting and performances is quite prominent, it also remains quite underappreciated. Our stars do not get enough credit and honour as they deserve for their outstanding craft. The ability to curate a compelling fictional character and become relatable to an audience by attaching emotions is something many of our local thespians have come to master.

Today we choose to focus on a handful on females who have produced some of the most gripping characters that the nation of Mzansi has witnessed on their screens.

Some of these actresses have grew up on screen, as we have seen them master the skill of acting after each role they have lead.

Their powerful craft has carried the beauty of storytelling and brought to life some of the most admired characters to the most gruesome of villains that we have come to dislike. Love them or hate them, it is all part of the act and skill that comes with mastering storytelling.
