As with international celebrities, some mzansi celebs have dated in the past, and ended up married, while others parted ways. On the other hand, some celebrity couples had kids before separating.
Just as parts of their lives are lived in the public eye, some of those breakups were public too, leading to the exposal of private information such as salaries or the identity of their offspring.

Thandiswa Mazwai and Stoan Seate
The two musicians, who dated during their time as Bongo Maffin band members, gave birth to a baby girl named Malaika. Malaika, soon to be 24 years old, recently graduated from AFDA, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture Medium. The two separated many years ago and are currently married to other people.

Dineo Ranaka and Blacklez
Businesswoman, reality TV star and podcaster Dineo Ranaka and rapper Blacklez (real name Lesego Moloia) have a daughter named Kopano. The pair who appeared on Dineo’s Diary as a couple displayed some of the highs and lows of their relationship, leading to some viewers having a say on some of their disagreements and choosing sides.
Rosette Ncwana and Andile Ncube
Model and reality TV star Rosette Ncwana with media personality and radio presenter Andile Ncube have a baby girl named Gabriela. The pair, who broke up many years, are regarded by some as a perfect example of good co-parenting. Andile is active in the child’s life and regards Rosette’s second child as a sight that is beautiful to see.

Zoe Mthiyane and Robert Marawa
Many years ago, actress and theatre performer Zoe Mthiyane met with radio and television sports presenter Robert Marawa. They dated and created a baby boy together. The former Coca–Cola Popstars contestant and the sports presenter were later embroiled in a maintenance battle where it was alleged that Zoe was demanding a monthly maintenance fee of R29,000.
Gogo Maweni and SK Khoza
Celebrity sangoma and reality TV star Makgotso Lee-Anne Makopo, famously known as Gogo Maweni, has a son with actor SK Khoza. The actor has never said much on matters concerning his child while Gogo Maweni has spoken of his absence. After parting ways, Gog0 Maweni got married and SK was engaged, and later had a public, shared fallout with his fiancé who is based in the UK.
